Meet Sharne Tanner and Russell Smith- the owners of OZKAYAK- two dedicated kayakers who love nothing more than sharing their expertise with their guests- and having a great time doing it!

Sharne has been a Bondi girl all her life and was raised on the waters of Sydney's beautiful beaches. She has extensive experience in all areas of sport and has managed, coached and competed in teams at state and national level. Her love for water sports lead her to her new passion for kayaking. A passion she and the ozkayak team embrace with their promise of the highest possible standards in safety quality and fun!

Russell has been paddling for 15yrs and has been guiding and instructing for 7yrs. Born and raised in the state of Maine, in the USA, he has enjoyed working in his family's successful kayaking business- Maine Sport Outdoor School. He has decided to continue spreading his passion for kayaking here in Sydney. Russell holds numerous kayaking accreditations and an advanced firstaid certificate and has experience leading groups on adventures from 2 hour tours to week long expeditions.
